Why Aamir Khan does not go to award functions: Imran Khan told the reason, said- ‘We do not exhibit art’
Bollywood actor Imran Khan has told why his uncle Aamir Khan does not go to award functions. Recently, when he was asked about this in an interview, he said, ‘I have grown up in a family where people have dedicated everything to art and craft and no one is bothered by being a celebrity and the glamour of this place. I have also been taught to take your work seriously, dedicate everything to it and do not get influenced by anything else. We do not exhibit art.’ Aamir had stopped going to award functions in the 90s Aamir had distanced himself from award functions in the 90s. He himself had given the reason for this in an old interview and said that these commercial film awards do not matter to him. Recently, when Aamir had come to The Great Indian Kapil Show, Archana Puran Singh had asked Aamir why he does not go to receive awards. In response to this, Aamir said – because time is very precious. I think time should be used at the right place. Aamir had produced Imran’s first film Imran’s debut film ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ released in 2008 was also produced by his uncle Aamir Khan. After this, both of them also worked together in ‘Delhi Belly’ released in 2011. Both these films were hits at the box office. As a child actor, Imran also appeared in two of Aamir’s films ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’.
