UPSC CDSE II 2023 Final Results Out: 271 Candidates Selected for Officers Training
UPSC CDSE II 2023 Final Result: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2023, selecting a total of 271 candidates for admission to prestigious military academies. This includes the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for the 120th Short Service Commission Course (Non-Technical) for Men, and the 34th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course, beginning in October 2024.
The merit list features candidates selected based on their performance in the examination conducted by UPSC and subsequent interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence.Notably, vacancies for the courses include 169 positions for men and 16 for women, as per government notifications.
It’s important to note that medical examination results were not considered in preparing the merit list, and all selections are provisional pending verification of candidates’ Date of Birth and Educational Qualifications by Army Headquarters.
Candidates can access their individual results and marks on the UPSC website (http://www.upsc.gov.in) within 15 days from the declaration date. The scores will remain available for viewing for 30 days. Additionally, details regarding non-recommended candidates’ scores and other relevant information are also accessible on the Commission’s website.
