The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting applications for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for June 2024.This esteemed exam serves multiple purposes:
- It determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions, which provide financial assistance to students pursuing research in Indian universities.
- It assesses candidates for Assistant Professor positions in universities and colleges across India.
- It acts as an entrance exam for Ph.D. programs in 83 different subjects.
The application window is open from April 20, 2024, to May 10, 2024 (until 11:50 PM). The exam will be conducted on June 16, 2024. The test will be administered in OMR (Pen & Paper) format and will cover a wide range of 83 subjects.
