Minimum qualifying marks: There’s usually a separate qualifying cut-off for General Category and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates. You’ll need to secure the minimum marks in both Paper I and Paper II to qualify.
Merit List: Based on the marks obtained in both papers, a merit list is prepared for each subject.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor Posts: Qualifying in TNSET makes you eligible to apply for Assistant Professor posts in Tamil Nadu universities and colleges.
• The medium of question papers is generally English, except for language subjects in Paper II.
• It’s recommended to refer to the official TNSET syllabus for a detailed breakdown of topics covered in each paper and your chosen subject.
Remember, this information is based on the general pattern of TNSET. Once the official notification for the rescheduled exam is released, you should confirm the exact exam pattern and selection criteria from reliable sources.
