Tabu narrated an anecdote related to the film ‘Virasat’: said- Director Priyadarshan had poured a bottle of oil on my hair
Anil Kapoor and Tabu starrer film Virasat was released in 1997. Its story was written by Kamal Haasan. Bharathan directed this film. Anil Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Pooja Batra and Milind Gunaji were also in lead roles in Virasat. In a recent interview, Tabu narrated a funny anecdote from the days of Virasat about how Priyadarshan prepared her for the character of Gehna Thakur. Poured a bottle of oil on my head Priyadarshan wanted my hair to be oily and have the look of a village woman. Therefore, the hairstylist asked me to apply some gel so that my hair would look oily. When I went to the set, he said, ‘I asked you to apply oil.’ I said, ‘Yes, I have applied a little. See the hair is shining, so he did not say anything and then came back from behind with a bottle of coconut oil and poured the entire oil on my head. Priyadarshan said, ‘This is the meaning of applying oil to the hair.’ During an interview with Zoom, Tabu said – Then it became even easier for me to get ready. I did not have to do any hairstyle. I used to get ready in five minutes. Long hair, applying oil, braiding them and going to the set. Tabu’s work front Tabu is ready to return to the big screen for the second time this year. Earlier this year, she was seen in the film Crew. This time she will be seen in the romantic thriller Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which is directed by Neeraj Pandey and stars Ajay Devgan in the lead role. The film is going to be released on July 5.
