Police reached the sets of Taarak Mehta and are trying to trace Gurucharan. Meanwhile, Delhi Police had recently reached the sets of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ to interrogate his co-stars. According to production head Sohil Ramani, the police visited the set as part of their investigation. He also wanted to know whether all the dues of Gurucharan were cleared from our end or not. Gurcharan Singh had left the show after a dispute with the producer. He remained a part of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ from its inception till 2013. Later, due to some dispute with producer Asit Modi, he left the show. However, by then he had become so popular that on public demand the producers had to bring him back in the show. After making a comeback, he did this show for 6 years.
