Superstar Rajinikanth goes on a 15-day spiritual journey every year. In an interview to ANI, Rajinikanth said- Such holy journeys take my growth further. Every year during this spiritual journey, I keep getting new experiences. I pray to God for public welfare and the happiness and prosperity of the country. Rajinikanth further said- Being spiritual means that there is a need for peace and tranquility. Today the whole world needs spirituality very much, because it is very important for every person. Talking about the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in a cameo role in the film ‘Lal Salaam’ directed by his daughter Aishwarya. Recently, the actor has completed the shooting of his film ‘Vettaiyaan’. Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fazil and Rana Daggubati will also be seen in special roles in this film. Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of a police officer in the film ‘Vettaiyaan’. Apart from this, he will be seen in a gangster avatar in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film ‘Coolie’.
