The department’s success can be attributed to the significant changes implemented in the curriculum, focusing on industry-specific courses and training students to meet the requirements of various industries. These efforts have yielded fruitful results within a short span of two years, with the number of placements increasing from around 2,000 (including 1,000 students from government polytechnic colleges) to over 12,000, with more recruitment results yet to come. Several students received offers with annual packages exceeding 8 lakh, while the average package saw a significant increase to 3 lakh per annum.
