SSB Odisha Junior Assistant Recruitment: The State Selection Board (SSB) Odisha has announced the written examination date for the recruitment of Junior Assistants. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 108 vacancies across Odisha University of Health Sciences, Council of Higher Secondary Education, and Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
The exam is scheduled for June 19, 2024, in a single shift, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.It will be held across various zones including Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Jeypore, and Sambalpur. Admit cards will be available on the official SSB Odisha website (www.ssbodisha.ac.in) from 1:00 PM on June 12, 2024.

SSB Odisha Junior Assistant Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants for SSB Junior Assistant need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Age Limit
The minimum and maximum age for eligibility are 21 years and 38 years respectively as of January 1, 2024. The age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen, and 10 years for PwD candidates with 40% disability or more.
Educational Qualifications
The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university and basic computer skills.
Other Eligibility Conditions
The candidate must be an Indian citizen. He/she must have proficiency in Odia, having studied it as a subject or passed an equivalent test. For candidates possessing academic qualifications from Boards / Universities / Institutions from outside Odisha, proof of equivalence and affiliation is required. The candidate furnishing certificates and mark-sheets with grades / grade-points shall have to furnish numerical equivalence of grades/ grade points from the examining bodies, failing which he/ she shall not be considered eligible for selection.
Selection Procedure
The selection process includes a written test and a computer skill test. The written test comprises 200 marks, segregated into General English (60 marks), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (40 marks), General Mathematics (40 marks), and Reasoning & Mental Ability (60 marks). The duration of the written test will be 2.5 hours. The format of the exam will be multiple-choice questions (MCQ) with a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer. Qualifying marks would be 40% for UR, 30% for SC/ST/SEBC/PwD.
The total marks for the Computer Skill Test is 50, with the minimum qualifying mark of 20.
The test will examine your knowledge of basic operations in Windows, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Access.
