The collection of Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Srikanth’ increased by almost 80% on the second day. The film earned Rs 4 crore on the second day of release. Its occupancy was 20.25%. With this the film has earned Rs 6 crore 25 lakh in two days. Earlier on Friday, the film had earned Rs 2 crore 25 lakh on the opening day. Its occupancy was 12.14%. Benefiting from word of mouth, Rajkummar Rao, Jyotika and Alaya F starrer Srikanth has been directed by director Tushar Hiranandani. This is the biopic of industrialist Shrikant Bola. The film is gaining publicity through word of mouth. ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ earned Rs 7.5 crore in two days. Srikanth’s clash at the box office is with the Hollywood film ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’. This film has earned Rs 3 crore 25 lakh on the first day and Rs 4 crore 25 lakh on the second day in India. With this, its total collection in two days has reached Rs 7 crore 50 lakh. ‘Hanuman’ is the highest grossing film of the year. ‘Hanuman’ is the highest grossing Hindi film so far this year. It has collected Rs 350 crore worldwide. Talking about Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter is at second place in this list with a global collection of Rs 337 crore. Malayalam film ‘Manjummal Boys’ is at third place in the list and Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Shaitan’ is at fourth place.
