‘Srikanth’ is earning well even on working days: 29.35 crores collected, ‘Kingdom of…Apps’ earned 1 thousand 972 crores worldwide
Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Srikanth’ is earning well in the second weekend despite it being a working day. On second Tuesday, the film did a business of Rs 1 crore 26 lakh. With this, the collection of the film has reached Rs 29 crore 35 lakh in 12 days. The overall occupancy of the film on Tuesday was 10.16%. Audiences are coming to the night shows of the film in large numbers. In Chennai, the film got the highest occupancy of 52%. Earned Rs 8.25 crore on second weekend. Earlier on Monday, this film had earned Rs 1 crore 52 lakh. It did a business of Rs 8 crore 25 lakh on the second weekend. The film had collected Rs 17 crore 85 lakh in the first week. Rajkummar Rao, Jyothika and Alaya F starrer Srikanth is directed by director Tushar Hiranandani. This is the biopic of industrialist Shrikant Bola. Since its release, the film has been doing good business with the help of mouth publicity. ‘Kingdom of…Apes’ earned Rs 24.24 crore in the country. On the other hand, the earnings of Hollywood film ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’, released with ‘Srikanth’, have declined. On Tuesday the film earned only Rs 52 lakh. With this, the film has earned Rs 24 crore 24 lakh across the country. Earlier, this film had earned Rs 18 crore 85 lakh in the first week. In the last 5 days it has earned Rs 5 crore 39 lakh. Globally it earned Rs 1,972 crore. However, globally this film earned a lot. The film has so far collected 237 million dollars i.e. approximately Rs 1 thousand 972 crore.
