Special screening of the film Sarfarosh: Aamir said – I don’t feel like 25 years have completed; Sonali Bendre and Naseeruddin Shah also arrived
It has been 25 years since Aamir Khan’s 1999 film Sarfarosh was released. On completion of 25 years, its special screening was organized in Mumbai last night. Almost the entire star cast of the film had reached here. Aamir Khan also made his presence felt. During this, Aamir said – I do not feel that the film has completed 25 years, the memories related to this film are still fresh in my mind. The film’s actress Sonali Bendre and actor Naseeruddin Shah, who played the role of villain, were also seen. Actress Sonali Bendre, who played the role of Aamir’s girlfriend in the film, also attended the screening. The film’s villain Naseeruddin Shah i.e. Gulfam Hassan was also seen. Actor Mukesh Rishi, who played the role of Inspector Salim Ahmed in the film, also attended the screening. Actor Pradeep Rawat, who played the role of Gangster Sultan, was also seen in the film. Actor Akhilendra Mishra, who played the role of Mirchi Seth, was also seen in the film. ‘Sarfarosh’, released in 1999, was the sixth highest grossing film of that year. Made for just Rs 8 crore, this film did a business of Rs 33 crore at the box office. Apart from Aamir, actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Sonali Bendre, Mukesh Rishi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were also seen in the film. John Mathew Mathan made his directorial debut with this film.
