Zaheer’s father Iqbal Ratnasi has now answered this question of the people. He has said that Sonakshi will not convert to Islam after marriage. Sonakshi-Zaheer are having a civil marriage. In an interview given to Free Press Journal, groom Zaheer’s father Iqbal Ratnasi said – The marriage will be neither according to Hindu nor Muslim customs. It will be a civil marriage. He told that the marriage will take place at his residence in Bandra. The groom’s father said – Sonakshi will not convert. Iqbal Ratnasi has also rejected the news that Sonakshi will convert to Islam after marriage. He told – She (Sonakshi) is not converting and this is confirmed. This is a union of hearts of both. Religion has no role in this. Both believe in humanity. He further said that Hindus call God as Bhagwan and Muslims call him Allah. But in the end, everyone is a human. Then at last he said that his blessings are with Sonakshi and Zaheer. Before the wedding, Mehendi and Haldi functions were held. All these functions were held at Zaheer’s house. Zaheer-Sonakshi met for the first time at Salman’s party. Sonakshi and Zaheer first met at a party of Salman Khan. After meeting at this party, both started meeting. Then after some time of friendship, both got into a relationship. Both have also been seen going on many vacations together. Both have also attended many Bollywood parties together. Due to all these reasons, the discussion had intensified that Sonakshi and Zaheer are in a relationship. However, she did not put an official stamp on the relationship from her side.
