Sharmila Tagore stood by Sara in bad times: The actress said- My grandmother is modern, she gives me the best advice regarding boys
Sara Ali Khan describes her grandmother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore as modern. The actress says that her grandmother’s thinking is still modern and she gives her the best advice in the matter of boys. In an interview given to Filmfare, Sara talked about her bonding with her grandmother and told how Sharmila took care of her in her bad times. When she went through bad times, Badi Amma supported her: Sara, impressed by her grandmother’s personality, says, ‘Whenever I feel weak, I go to my Badi Amma. I get courage from her. She is the voice of our entire family. In the year 2020, when I was going through a difficult time in my life, my father (Saif Ali Khan) was standing with me with a gun. At that time, grandmother took a stand for me, my mother and my brother. She also stood with my father. ‘ Sara further said, ‘Grandmother keeps me grounded. Be it the matter of boys, films or social life, she always gives the best advice. She is a champion.’ ‘Trolling doesn’t bother me at all’ Talking about being trolled on social media, Sara said, ‘I believe that as soon as someone gets a chance, he starts trying to pull you down. This happens the most on social media, but believe me, I don’t have any problem with trolling. I believe that something worse than what is happening can happen, so one should not get upset under any circumstances. Another important thing that I believe is that if you are an actor and no one is talking about you, then your existence is over. I think that you are something, that’s why people are talking about you.’ On the work front, Sara will be seen in an action-comedy film opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. It is being produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga together. Apart from this, she also has Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro In Dinon’.
