Ranveer was not able to get out of Khilji’s character: Prashant refuted the actor’s statement, now Nawazuddin reacted
Ranveer Singh played the role of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmaavat’. The actor looked very scary and dreadful in this role. During an interview, he told that he had gone into the dark zone to play this character, from which he had a lot of difficulty in recovering. Actor Prashant Narayanan called this statement of Ranveer a lie and nonsense. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has now given his reaction on Prashant Narayanan’s statement. Actually, in an interview given to Siddharth Kannan, Prashant Narayanan had said that Ranveer Singh lied about going into the dark zone to play the character of Alauddin Khilji in the film ‘Padmaavat’. Going into dark space is nonsense. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, while giving his reaction on this statement of Prashant without naming him, has called his statement irresponsible. Nawazuddin said – It cannot be guessed what any actor is thinking while playing his role. Nawaz, while referring to the character played by famous Hollywood actor Heath Ledger in the film ‘Joker’, said that such characters come alive only when an actor plays these characters seriously.
