Ramoji was also the head of ETV Network’s television channels and Telugu newspaper Eenadu. Ramoji was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second highest civilian award, in 2016 for his contribution to journalism, literature and education. He is called the Rupert Murdoch of India. Ramoji was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. However, he was completely cured after treatment. Ramoji’s family includes his wife Rama Devi and son Kiran. Kiran is the head of Eenadu Publication Group and ETV channels. Ramoji’s younger son Cherukuri Suman died of leukemia on 7 September 2012. 15-25 films can be shot simultaneously in Ramoji Film City. Ramoji Film City is included in the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest film studio complex. Ramoji Rao established it in 1996 in Abdullapurmet on Nalgonda Road, 25 km from Telangana’s capital Hyderabad. This studio is spread over an area of ​​more than 2000 acres. This studio has 50 shooting floors. 15 to 25 films can be shot simultaneously here. All the facilities from pre-production to post-production of the film are available at one place in the Film City.
