Panchayat’s ‘Banarakas’ are not getting good roles: He said- ‘There is a lot of work for the next two years but I am not getting offers for commercial films’
Durgesh Kumar is in the news these days for playing the role of Bhushan i.e. ‘Banarakas’ in the web series ‘Panchayat 3’. Durgesh has got so much success for the first time in his career with this role. Before this, he has been seen playing small roles in films but he had to wait a long time to taste the success. However, even after the success of Panchayat 3, Durgesh’s struggle is not over. He says that still no one has offered him a good role. ‘Not getting offers for commercial films’ In an interview, Durgesh said, I will still say that I am not getting good roles. It is not that I am not getting work but I am not getting any offers for big commercial films. Even then, I am trying to perform through the small roles that are being offered. I have a lot of work for the next two years. Had to work in soft porn films Durgesh told in an interview recently that he came to Mumbai for the first time in 2013. After this, he gave many auditions but the casting directors used to tell him that he has talent but things were not working out in the auditions. After this, he got a chance to work in Imtiaz Ali’s film ‘Highway’ but even after this when he did not get work, he had to do soft porn films to survive. Durgesh said, ‘I could not live without acting. I did many kinds of work because I knew how much potential I had.’ Will be seen in ‘Maharaj’ Durgesh Kumar’s next film is ‘Maharaj’ in which he will be seen doing a comic role. He has only two scenes in it. This is the debut film of Aamir Khan’s son Junaid. Apart from this, Durgesh will be seen in Saif Ali Khan’s film ‘Kartavya’. He will also be seen in the film ‘Gangs of Ghaziabad’ with Shatrughan Sinha, Ashutosh Rana and Mukesh Tiwari. He has also worked in ‘Laapta Ladies’ and ‘Bhakshak’.
