In such a situation, some actors present on the set also had to jump in to protect Salman. The next day, more security had to be increased for Salman and many cars were also called. This is star power. The audience’s love is something that cannot be bought with money.’ Praising Salman, Nikitin said that despite having such a strong fan following, he knows that fame is like a double-edged sword. Nikitin told that when he once asked Salman how he handles so much star power and fame, he said, ‘When I am going through a bad time, these are the same people who abuse me too, so in such a situation you have to move forward keeping both sides of the coin in mind.’ Nikitin shared an anecdote related to ‘Chennai Express’ Narrating the anecdote of the first day of shooting of ‘Chennai Express’, Nikitin said, ‘On the first day I was a little scared because no one knew me. Deepika Padukone was such a big star and Shah Rukh sir is a superstar, Rohit Shetty has his own aura and his sets are very big. I was standing in a corner but instead of calling me to him, Shah Rukh himself brought his chair and sat next to me. He has no pride of being a star.” Nikitin is busy shooting for a Kannada film.
