Kannada actor Darshan Thugudeepa is currently in jail on charges of murdering fan Renukaswamy. Meanwhile, reports have revealed that Darshan had borrowed Rs 40 lakh from his friend to erase the evidence of the murder. Darshan himself has confessed this to the police. According to the police, Darshan told during interrogation that he had borrowed Rs 40 lakh from his friend Mohan Raj so that he could give this money to his associates to erase the evidence of the murder. The police have seized this Rs 40 lakh in cash. Darshan had spent this money to dispose of the body and to surrender others and confess the crime. After the murder, one of the accused Nagaraj used a Scorpio car to dispose of the body, which has been seized by the police. Blood stains have also been found on the backseat of this car. The ear was missing from Renukaswamy’s body. Recently, Renukaswamy’s post-mortem report revealed that electric shocks were given to torture him before the murder. There were injury marks on many places on his body. One of his ears was also missing and there was an injury in the private part as well. There were many wounds on his back, chest and hands and feet from which blood was flowing. Many parts of the body were scratched by dogs. Custody extended for two more days Bengaluru Police has extended the custody of Darshan and two other accused for two more days. The other 16 accused have already been sent to 14 days of judicial custody. Darshan has been in jail since June 11 on charges of murdering 33-year-old fan Renukaswamy. So far, in the police investigation, this information related to this murder has come to the fore that the 33-year-old deceased Renukaswamy was a fan of actor Darshan. In January 2024, Kannada actress Pavitra Gowda celebrated her 10th anniversary with Darshan. This brought the relationship of both of them into controversy, as Darshan is already married. Renukaswamy used to send objectionable messages to Pavitra. Renukaswamy was very angry with this news. He was constantly messaging Pavitra asking her to stay away from Darshan. Initially, Pavitra ignored his messages, but later Renukaswamy started threatening by sending objectionable messages. After this, Pavitra instigated Darshan to kill Renukaswamy. She also asked him to punish her. Darshan kidnapped Renukaswamy with the help of his companions. Everyone took him to a godown. Where he was tortured before killing him. According to the police, Darshan and his companions beat Renukaswamy badly in the godown, due to which he died. After the murder, Darshan’s companions whose clothes were soaked in blood. They went to the nearby Reliance store and bought new clothes and changed there. Renukaswamy’s body was found on June 9. Renukaswamy’s body was found near an apartment in Kamakshipalya area of ​​​​Bengaluru on June 9. When the police investigated the area around the crime scene, they saw Darshan and Pavitra coming out of the crime scene in the CCTV footage. The mobile numbers of both were active in the same area from 11 pm to 3 am. After this, Darshan and Pavitra were arrested on June 11. The police have so far arrested 19 people including Darshan and Pavitra in this case.
