New arrest in Salman’s house firing case: Mumbai Crime Branch arrested 5th accused from Rajasthan, helped in recceing the main shooters




The Mumbai Crime Branch team on Tuesday arrested another person in the firing case outside Salman Khan’s house Galaxy Apartment. This 5th accused has been arrested from Rajasthan whose name is Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary. According to sources, Chaudhary had helped the two shooters arrested in this case, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, in collecting money and recceing Salman’s house. The crime branch team is bringing the accused from Rajasthan to Mumbai. Here the accused will be presented in the fort court where the police can demand 5 days custody. This is the fifth arrest made by the Crime Branch in this case. Four rounds of firing took place on April 14. On April 14, firing was done at 5 am in front of Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. The attackers who came on two bikes had fired 4 rounds. Salman was in his house when the firing took place. An accused committed suicide in police custody. Meanwhile, last Wednesday, Anuj Thapan, accused of giving weapons to those who fired, committed suicide in the custody of Mumbai Police. The accused had hanged himself with a sheet in the toilet of Mumbai Police Headquarters. The investigation of Anuj’s suicide has been handed over to the state CID. Mumbai Crime Branch had detained Anuj (32) and Subhash Chander (37) from Punjab on April 25 in the firing case. Both of them had provided weapons for this incident. Both were working together with Lawrence Bishnoi for many years.
