Nawazuddin Siddiqui on his friendship with Anurag Kashyap: We are not very good friends, but the credit for my success goes to him
Nawazuddin Siddiqui got recognition from Anurag Kashyap’s film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. In a recent interview, Nawaz talked about his and Anurag’s friendship. He said that we are not very good friends. But nothing bad should ever happen to him. Not only this, he also gave the credit of his success to Anurag Kashyap. We travel for hours without talking. While talking to Indian Express, Nawazuddin said – To tell the truth, Anurag Kashyap and I are not friends. When we are sitting together, we do not talk to each other for hours. We both are like this. We have traveled for 5 to 6 hours without talking. Our talks are limited to asking for matchboxes and talking about food and drinks. Nawazuddin told that despite not being friends between us, Anurag has a special place in his heart. Nawaz wants Anurag to keep moving forward like this. The actor says that it is not necessary that he casts me in films. Nothing bad should happen to him. Nawaz gave the credit of his success to Anurag. Nawaz told that before the release of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, designers refused to make suits for him because of his look. This hurt the actor a lot. Nawaz gave the credit of his success to Anurag and also thanked him from the heart. A few days ago, Anurag Kashyap mentioned Nawaz during an interview. He told that when he was battling depression, Nawaz and Taapsee Pannu always used to ask about his well being. Nawazuddin’s workfront On the work front, Nawaz’s next film is ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ which will be released on June 28 on Zee5. In the film, Nawaz will once again be seen in the role of a policeman.
