Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, known for his powerful acting, is in the news these days for his controversial statements. In a recent interview, Naseer has called Hindi cinema’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna a bad actor. Khanna was a very bound actor: Naseer In an interview to Hindustan Times, Naseer said, ‘The standard of Hindi films fell in the 70s. This happened when Rajesh Khanna joined the industry. He achieved so much success but I think Khanna was a very bound actor. In fact, he was a bad actor. Intellectually he was very less alert. His style ruled the industry.’ ‘Men watch illogical films for entertainment’ Talking about the concept of masculinity in this interview, Naseer said that when men are emotionally tired, they like to watch illogical masala films just for entertainment. Amitabh has not done any great film: Naseer Earlier, in an interview given in the year 2010, Naseer had also given a controversial statement about Amitabh Bachchan. In an interview with News X, he was discussing great actors and their great films. When he was asked about Amitabh Bachchan and ‘Sholay’, Naseeruddin said, ‘Amitabh Bachchan, he has not done any great film. ‘Sholay’ is also not a great film. Yes, it is definitely entertaining.’ Naseeruddin is more active in web series than films. On the work front, Naseeruddin’s last film was ‘Kute’ released last year. Before this, he was seen in Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Gahraiyan’ in 2022. These days Naseeruddin is seen more in web series than films. Last year, his three web series ‘Taj’, ‘Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo’ and ‘Charlie Chopra and the Mystery of Solang Valley’ were released. He was last seen in the Emraan Hashmi starrer web series ‘Showtime’ released this year.
