MP High Court notice to Kareena Kapoor on ‘Pregnancy Bible’: The actress had told the book about her third child; Accused of hurting religious sentiments – Jabalpur News




Madhya Pradesh High Court (Jabalpur) has issued a notice in the case of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan’s book ‘Kareena Kapoor Khan Pregnancy Bible’. The single bench of Justice GS Ahluwalia has also sought replies from the book’s co-author Aditi Shah Bhimjiani, Amazon India and Juggernaut Books. The next hearing in the case will be on July 1. Advocate Christopher Anthony had filed the petition in the High Court in 2022. The first hearing was held in August 2022, when the High Court had also asked the state government to form a party. Later the matter cooled down a bit. The hearing took place on May 10 after Anthony filed a memorandum in the court. It has been argued in the petition that adding Bible to the name hurt the sentiments of people of Christian religion. Anthony says that the Bible is the religious text of Christianity. The description of the teachings of Lord Jesus is found in this holy book. The use of Bible in Kareena’s book is hurtful. The book was launched three years ago. Kareena Kapoor had launched this book written on pregnancy on 9 August 2021. He called this book his third child. On the launch of the book, she discussed with Karan Johar online and talked about the ups and downs in life during pregnancy. Kareena told that the second pregnancy was difficult for her as compared to the first pregnancy. ‘The book narrates the physical and emotional experiences during both my pregnancies’ Kareena posted the video on social media platform Instagram on July 9, 2021. She asks, ‘What’s baking?’ After this, she takes out the book from the microwave and says, ‘It is baking.’ The caption read, ‘My pregnancy and writing my ‘Pregnancy Bible’, it has been a journey.’ She wrote, ‘There were some good days and some bad days, some days I was eager to go to work, but some days I was struggling to even get out of bed. This book describes my physical and emotional experiences during both my pregnancies. These are very personal details. In many ways this book is like my third child, from its conception to its birth today. Kareena became a mother again on 21 February. Kareena gave birth to her second son on 21 February 2021. Earlier the name of the son was being said as Jeh Ali Khan, but in her book, Kareena named the son as Jahangir. Earlier, Kareena became a mother for the first time in 2016 and gave birth to Taimur. Kareena married Saif Ali Khan in 2012. Kareena told Karan – Coming home with Jeh was memorable. While talking to Karan Johar online at the launch of the book, Kareena said, ‘Being pregnant for the second time was very tough, at the time of Taimur, there was not as much trouble as it was at the time of Jeh. When I was pregnant with Taimur, everything was very smooth, I was feeling good. I enjoyed that period, which gave me the courage to do it again, but things were different the second time. I used to face a lot of problems. I used to think that I can’t do this, I can’t do it and nothing is going to get better. The time of Covid was also going on, I also shot while following the safety protocol. This made me feel very good, I was able to remain happy in difficult times. There was a constant fear in my mind that what was going to happen, if I got Covid, my child would also get it. Suffered a lot of mental trauma in the last trimester. I felt as if my legs had become 100 kg. Kareena said, ‘When I returned home from the hospital after giving birth to Jeh, holding him in my hands, that moment was memorable. After this, I used to look at myself in the mirror and wonder whether I will ever be able to recover. Thought everything would be fine and I would return once again.
