More parts of ‘Bahubali’ will be made: Director SS Rajamouli said – Nothing was spent on the promotion of ‘Bahubali’
Filmmaker SS Rajamouli was recently seen at the press conference of the upcoming animated series ‘Bahubali: Crown of Blood’. During this, he also talked about the franchise of the film ‘Baahubali’ released in 2015. During this, he also revealed that he did not spend any money on the promotion of both the parts of ‘Baahubali’. The promotion budget for ‘Bahubali’ was zero. Rajamouli told that he and his team had done a lot of homework to not spend money on the film promotion. Rajamouli said – ‘When we decided that we would keep zero budget for promotion, we did not spend any money on it. We did not pay any newspaper or website to put up posters. We did our homework on how to promote without spending money. We made a lot of videos. We created digital posters internally. We made videos related to the characters, so it got a lot of publicity but we did not have to spend any money. We just applied our brains and time and the work was done. Rajamouli further said, ‘Every film is different. Every product is different but as a filmmaker you should always try to find how to connect new audiences and generate interest in your product. ‘Bahubali’ franchise will move ahead. In this event, Rajamouli was asked whether the film ‘Bahubali’ franchise will move ahead after the release of two parts. He said, ‘Bahubali’ will not only move ahead in the animated series but will also be seen in other mediums. Will be taken forward. Right now is not the right time to talk about it on this platform. ‘Bahubali’ producer Shobu Yarlagadda also agreed on this and said, the films of ‘Bahubali’ series till now are only a small part. Many franchises can be made on this. The highest grossing film was ‘Bahubali’. Talking about the animated series ‘Bahubali: Crown of Blood’, it will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar from May 17. The film ‘Baahubali’, released in 2015, was the highest grossing film of Telugu and South cinema. It was also India’s highest grossing Hindi dubbed film. Prabhas’s film ‘Baahubali’ is the first Indian film which earned Rs. 1000 crore in just 10 days.
