Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has deployed a large section of his armed forces at the Border with Colombia. The Venezuelan forces carried out Bolivarian Shield 2025, where they conducted live fire drills, air combat missions, and para drops in Zulia, next to the Colombian Border. This comes after two former Colombian Presidents, Alvaro Uribe and Ivan Duque threatened to invade Venezuela to remove Maduro from power. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has also said that his administration does not see Maduro as the legitimate leader of Venezuela. Maduro has called Colombia and the United States “Real Enemies,” and says that he would like to meet the former Colombian Presidents on the battlefield.
