A daring robbery took place in the Rangbazar area of Balianta, with criminals targeting three flats in a couple of apartment buildings. The incident occurred late last night, while the city was under heightened police presence during the DG conference and the President’s visit. Four masked miscreants broke into the flats, stealing gold ornaments and cash worth lakhs of rupees. The robbery unfolded when no one was home, and CCTV footage captured the thieves in action.
