A low pressure area is likely to develop over south Bay of Bengal area around May 5, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD) Director General, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra on Saturday. According to Mohapatra, there is a probability that the low pressure area might intensify into a depression. “As per yesterday’s forecast, a low pressure area is likely to develop over south Bay of Bengal around May 5. It may intensify into a depression.
