Ladies Study Group event held in Kolkata: Rajkumar Hirani and Boman Hirani were present; Organization President Bhavna Aggarwal gave closing speech

The closing event of Ladies Study Group (LSG) was organized in Kolkata on 29th April. This event was named ‘All is Well’. Here directors Rajkumar Hirani and Boman Irani were invited as chief guests. The event was moderated by Bhavana Agarwal, President of Ladies Study Group (LSG). Glimpses of Bhavna Aggarwal’s one year tenure were shown at the event. Let us tell you, Ladies Study Group is an organization created for the upliftment and education of women. Bhavna Aggarwal has been associated with this organization for 20 years. Hirani talked about film making and Boman talked about acting. In this event, Rajkumar Hirani talked about his film making. Boman Irani talked about his versatility in acting. There was talk about his transition between serious and comedy roles. Boman expressed his gratitude to Padma Shri Award winner singer Usha Uthup in this event. Boman told that Usha Uthup has guided him at every turn of life. During this time he also expressed his gratitude to his mother. Boman said that his mother played a big role in making him an actor. Mother always encouraged him. Mother herself used to send him to watch movies. She wanted her son to get knowledge of cinema. At the event, Rajkumar Hirani told how he got into film making. Hirani wanted admission in science, but did not get it. After this, I thought of taking commerce and becoming a chartered accountant. The stress had increased amid the struggle. Meanwhile, interest in film making increased. He gathered courage and told this to his father. Luckily the family also supported him. A little bit of his story has also been shown in 3 Idiots. Hirani showed through the film that children should follow their passion and not follow the herd. If you are not interested in studies then you should do the work in which you are interested with hard work and honesty. Rajkumar Hirani introduced people to his storytelling and films in this event. Hirani and Boman’s unmatched friendship was discussed at the event. Bhavna Aggarwal asked Boman and Rajkumar Hirani about their friendship. He told how both of them met and worked together for many films. There was a lot of discussion mainly on Boman’s character ‘Virus’ in 3 Idiots. Boman told that he is the only actor who has worked in all the films of Rajkumar Hirani. Bhavna Aggarwal thanked the guests. At the end of the event, Boman and Raju Hirani sang songs from 3 Idiots. Usha Uthup also supported him. In the end, Bhavna Aggarwal expressed her gratitude to both the celebrities. He said that talking to both the people and knowing about them was no less than a box office entertainer.
