KCET results 2024: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has declared the results of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024. Candidates who had taken the KCET 2024 exam for admission to various engineering courses in the state can now check their results on the official results portal at karresults.nic.in.
In order to view their scores and ranks, candidates are required to fill their registration number and the first four characters of their names in the given space on the portal.Candidates who qualify, will move to the subsequent round of KCET counselling 2024 for the next round of admission.

How to check KCET 2024 rank, result?

Here’s are steps to check KCET results 2024:
Step 1: Go to the official website of Karnataka results at karresults.nic.in
Step 2: Click on link mentioning ‘CET ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ’ or ‘CET examination results’
Step 3: On the newly opened page, enter your registration number for KCET 2024 and the first four characters of your name. Click on submit.
Step 4: Your result and rank will be shown on the screen.
Step 5: Take a screenshot, or save the page as a PDF for future reference.

This year in the Karnataka CET 2024, a total of nine boys and one girl, all from Bengaluru, secured the top 10 ranks in the engineering list of the Common Entrance Test. The top three ranks were achieved by Harsha Karthikeya Vutukuri from Narayana Olympiad School, Sahakara Nagar; Manoj Sohan Gajula from Sri Chaithanya Techno School, Marathahalli; and Abhinav PJ from Nehru Smaraka Vidyalaya, Jayanagar.
KCET 2024 exam overview
KCET, which is crucial for admission to professional courses in colleges across Karnataka, was conducted at 737 centres statewide on April 18 and 19. This exam determines eligibility for numerous engineering and professional seats available in the state.
Over 60,000 seats in offer
Last year, there were 68,793 engineering seats available through CET and 22,837 seats through Comed-K. Overall, Karnataka offers 1.24 lakh engineering seats. The number of students eligible for engineering courses has increased significantly over the years: 1.7 lakh in 2022, 2.03 lakh in 2023, and 2.74 lakh in 2024.

What happens after announcement of KCET results 2024?
Following the announcement, the KCET counselling round will be launched online through the KEA website. It involves document verification, option entry, seat assignment, and fee payment rounds. During the registration process, applicants select their preferred colleges and courses, based on which seat-allotment lists will be released.
