KCET Result 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2024, conducted on April 18th and 19th, 2024, across 737 examination centers in Karnataka. Among the total of 3,49,653 candidates who participated in the examination, 310,314 candidates have been declared successful, including 139,274 boys and 171,040 girls.
Following complaints of questions being outside the syllabus, the government directed a review by subject experts.Consequently, 9 Physics, 15 Chemistry, 15 Mathematics, and 11 Biology questions were dropped, with grace marks awarded for Physics and Mathematics.
Revised correct answers, determined by subject experts, are now available on the KEA website. The merit list considers these revised answers along with performance in the second PU examinations.

Out of the total 349,653 applicants, comprising 154,869 boys and 194,784 girls, 310,314 candidates appeared for the examination, with 139,274 being boys and 171,040 girls.
Among the appeared candidates, the eligibility for ranking has been determined, with a total of 310,314 candidates meeting the criteria, including 139,274 boys and 171,040 girls. The eligible candidates are further categorized based on the courses they applied for and their gender.
For Engineering courses, a total of 274,595 candidates are eligible for ranking, with 125,830 boys and 148,765 girls meeting the requirements. Similarly, for B.Sc. Agriculture, 215,965 candidates are eligible, comprising 88,931 boys and 129,996 girls. For BVSc., the eligible count stands at 219,887, with 89,891 boys and 129,996 girls.
In the BNYS category, 219,483 candidates are eligible, including 89,703 boys and 129,780 girls. Furthermore, for B. Pharma and Pharma-D courses, 278,919 and 279,313 candidates respectively qualify for ranking, with a notable gender distribution. Finally, in B.Sc. Nursing, a total of 228,058 candidates are eligible, with 92,194 boys and 135,864 girls meeting the requirements.
