Kannada actor accused of murder: Darshan Thoogudeepa and his wife arrested from hotel, controversy started with social media post
Popular Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his wife have been detained by Bangalore Police on June 11. Both have been accused of murder. Darshan and his wife have been arrested from a hotel in Bangalore. In this case, the police have also detained 13 other people and started questioning them. According to the police, actor Darshan’s name has surfaced in the murder of a man named Renukaswami, who lives in Chitadurga area of Bangalore. Renukaswami’s body was recovered from a drain near Kamakshipalya on Sunday. People passing by the road informed the police about the discovery of Renukaswami’s body. According to them, some dogs were dragging the body lying in the drain. There was a controversy over a social media post. The deceased Renukaswami worked in a pharmacy company. Some time ago, he made some objectionable comments on actress Pavitra Gowda on a social media post. Both had an argument over the post. The police have called Darshan as well as actress Pavitra for questioning.
