He said that usually in the South, after an actor rejects a film, no director goes to him again with the film, but Shankar is not one of them. Regarding the producer of the film ‘Indian 2’, Subhashkaran, Kamal said that he has not even seen a glimpse of the film yet, but he has full faith in us. ‘There will be no home to return to’ Finally, while talking about politics, Kamal said, ‘The British policy of divide and rule will no longer work in this country. The British had their own home to return to after their policy failed. But if the people living here try to do something like this, then they should remember that they will not have any place to return to.’ ‘We know when to keep quiet and when not to’ Kamal further said- ‘I am a Tamilian first and then an Indian. This is my identity and yours too. A Tamilian knows when to keep quiet and when not to. Earlier also I had said something about this and I got into trouble. Just think, we made India’s first woman Prime Minister (Indira Gandhi became PM with the support of the then Congress President K. Kamaraj).
