Telugu filmmaker Charan Tej Uppalapati is soon going to make his directorial debut in Bollywood. His high-budget action-thriller film will feature actors like Kajol, Prabhudeva and Naseeruddin Shah. Through this film, Kajol and Prabhudeva will work together after 27 years. Earlier, both of them had worked together in the 1997 Tamil film ‘Minsara Kanavu’, which was released in Hindi with the title ‘Sapne’. Apart from Kajol and Prabhudeva, actors like Samyukta Menon, Jisshu Sengupta and Aditya Seal will also work in Charan’s film. The shooting of the first schedule of the film has been completed. The makers are going to release its teaser soon. The first schedule was shot in Hyderabad and Mumbai. Talking about the film, director Charan said- ‘I was writing this story for a long time. Now finally I will make my Bollywood debut with it. We have completed the shooting of its first schedule in Hyderabad and Mumbai and soon we will release its teaser.’ ‘Wanted to challenge myself’ Charan further said- ‘I could have easily made this film in Telugu but I wanted to challenge myself, so I decided to make it in Hindi. The story of this film is woven around the relationship between parents and children. Through this, we will try to show how parents feel after their children leave them. We will also dub it in all South Indian languages and release it.’ ‘Sapne’ ran in theatres for 175 days Kajol and Prabhu Deva had earlier worked together in ‘Sapne’, which was released on 14 January 1997. This film was a superhit in the South and ran in theatres for 175 days. Its songs were composed by AR Rahman, which were superhits. This was Kajol’s Tamil debut film. Actor Arvind Swami was also seen in an important role in the film. The film won many awards.
