‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ got an opening of 1.20 crores: ‘Munjya’ earned 3.31 crores on the 15th day, the total collection of the film crossed 74 crores
Hrithik Roshan’s cousin Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Jibran Khan and Nayla Grewal starrer film ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ has been released. This teenage romantic-comedy film collected 1 crore 20 lakh rupees on the first day in theatres. This film is the spiritual sequel of ‘Ishq Vishk’. The overall occupancy of this film on the opening day was 15.37%. This is the spiritual sequel of the 2003 Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao starrer superhit film ‘Ishq Vishk’. It has been directed by Marathi actor-director Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari. This is his first Hindi film as a director. ‘Munjya’ is not slowing down even in the third week. On the other hand, horror-comedy ‘Munjya’ has earned 3.31 crore rupees on the 15th day. Its occupancy was 14.40%. With this, the total collection of the film has reached Rs 74.31 crores. Sharvari, Abhay and Mona Singh starrer ‘Munjya’ has done a business of Rs 36.50 crores in the first week and Rs 34.50 crores in the second week. It is earning well in the third week as well. If it continues to earn like this on working days, it can soon cross the 100 crore mark. Apart from the main actors, actor Satyaraj, who played Katappa in ‘Bahubali’, also has an extended cameo in the film ‘Munjya’, which is earning well without any star. It is directed by Aditya Sarpoddar. It is jointly produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan. This is the fourth film of Maddock Supernatural Universe after ‘Stree’, ‘Roohi’ and ‘Bhediya’.
