After a roller-coaster ride, the current indirect tax system, goods and services tax (GST), has completed five years of implementation on July 1st. The regime, with a driving motto of ‘One Nation, One Market, One Tax’, subsumed a majority of taxes of central and states on the sale of goods and services.
