It has been 29 years since the release of the film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. Kajol and Shahrukh Khan were seen as lead actors in the film. Kajol’s mother Lajwanti’s character was played by veteran actress Farida Jalal. Who has also recently appeared in the ‘Heeramandi’ series. In a recent interview, Farida has narrated a funny story related to DDLJ. She talked about a scene during the shooting of the film. Farida tells that a very emotional scene was going on. In which Farida is talking very emotionally to Kajol. Farida is telling Simran i.e. Kajol – whatever happened to her, she will never let it happen to her daughter. On one hand, Farida’s eyes were filled with tears, while Kajol was standing in front of her and trying to make her laugh by joking. Actually, there was a back shot of Kajol in this shoot. Because of this, what she was saying and what she was doing was not visible on the camera. Only Farida’s face was visible. Taking advantage of this, Kajol was having fun with her. During a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Farida told that Kajol tested her a lot in that scene. On one hand she was doing an emotional scene, on the other hand, the bubbly Kajol tells her – you are looking so cute. How beautiful. Farida ji. Farida said – I like Kajol very much. When the shot was over, everyone started laughing. Everyone praised me, the way Kajol was acting, if it was someone else, he would not have been able to give this shot. She told that Aditya Chopra used to scold Kajol a lot on the set, but she kept laughing and joking on the set. During the interview, Farida also told that she wants to work more with Shahrukh Khan.
