Veteran actress Farida Jalal and late actor Rajesh Khanna entered the film industry at almost the same time. Both were finalists of the same talent show. Recently, Farida recalled the experience of working with Rajesh in the 1969 blockbuster film ‘Aradhana’ during an interview. Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore played the lead roles in this film, but Farida Jalal played an important role in the film. It was from this film that Rajesh Khanna got the title of ‘Superstar’. Farida has revealed about 55 years after the release of the film that Rajesh Khanna was very arrogant in those days. Due to which there were some fights between the two. Talking to Bollywood Bubble, she said that after Aradhana he became ‘The Rajesh Khanna’. During the shooting, I did not pay much attention to him, so he got angry with me. I used to live in my own world. But he was really a very good actor. Farida used to refuse for rehearsals. She says that whenever I used to ask him to rehearse, he used to say ‘so much rehearsal’? I was very new at that time. I said how can you say this. Even if I want rehearsals 10 times, I will do it. We had a fight over this. Then Sharmila Tagore came in between and defended me.
