Family broke silence on the death of actress Noor: said- ‘Malabika was not happy with her career in the film industry, was also in depression’
Actress Noor Malabika Das, who was Kajol’s co-star in the webseries ‘The Trial’, was found dead in her apartment in Mumbai recently. Her body was found hanging from the fan. After which the police suspected suicide. Now her family has broken the silence on her death and said that Malabika was in depression and she was also not happy with her career in the film industry. Talking to Times of India, Noor’s aunt Aarti Das said that Noor had gone to enter the world of acting with great expectations. She was also working hard to reach her destination but somewhere she was not happy with her achievements. Perhaps that is why she took such a terrible step. The family did not perform the last rites. On June 6, Noor’s body was found in her Lokhandwala apartment. Her neighbors had complained to the police about the foul smell coming from the flat. After this, the police reached the spot and immediately sent the body to a hospital for post-mortem. During this time, Noor’s family members were contacted but no contact could be established, after which the police, with the help of an NGO, cremated her on June 9. AICWA demanded an investigation The All India Cine Workers Association has written a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde demanding an investigation to find out the reasons behind Noor’s death. AICWA has requested in its letter that the police should investigate all aspects to bring out the truth behind Noor’s death. Noor was a resident of Assam. 32-year-old Malabika was a resident of Karimganj in Assam. She had worked in bold web series streamed on the Ullu app like ‘Siskiyan’, ‘Tikhi Chutney’ and ‘Charamsukh’. Till two weeks ago, her family was living with her in Mumbai but then they returned to the village.
