ED registers FIR against Elvish in Lucknow: Case under money laundering; YouTuber remained in jail for 5 days in snake poison case – Noida (Gautambudh Nagar) News




ED has registered a case against YouTuber Elvish Yadav in Lucknow under the Money Laundering Act. ED has received information that Elvish has a fleet of several luxury cars. Transactions of huge amounts have also been detected in cases related to snake venom. According to ED sources, a case has been registered on the basis of these facts and the FIR registered in Noida. ED can soon send summons to Elvish and interrogate him in this matter. Bigg Boss OTT-2 winner Elvish was arrested by Noida Police on March 17 this year in a case related to snake venom. After being in jail for 5 days, he is currently out on bail. According to sources, on the instructions of ED Headquarters in Delhi, the zonal office in Lucknow has registered a case and started investigation. Alleging use of snake venom in the party, Gaurav Gupta, an officer of BJP MP Maneka Gandhi’s organization Peoples for Animals, had filed a case against 6 people including Elvish in Noida Sector-49 police station. This case was registered on 2 November 2023 under sections of the Wildlife Protection Act. The police arrested 5 people including 4 snake charmers on the same day. The police also found snake venom near them. It was sent to the lab for testing. After investigation, after about 5 months, Noida Police arrested Elvish. Police filed a 1200 page charge sheet. Noida Police filed a 1200 page charge sheet in this case. Statements of 24 witnesses were included in it. The police claimed that Elvish had links with snake charmers. Expert advice from Mumbai-based Department of Forensic Medicine Toxicology was also included. DCP Vidya Sagar Mishra said that evidence was given against Elvish on the basis of NDPS Act. In the charge sheet, the call details of Elvish’s social media account were explained in detail. Reports of 9 snakes including cobra and 20 ml of poison were also included in the charge sheet. The sting audio of the organization that lodged the FIR was also included. According to ED sources, based on police investigation, it was revealed that snake venom was made available in rave parties held in hotels and farm houses in Noida, Faridabad and Gurugram. There is suspicion of transaction of huge amount in this. ED officers can summon these farm house operators and interrogate them.
