Diljit fell in love at the age of 8: expressed his love; also tried to run away from home due to fear of his parents
Diljit Dosanjh has recently revealed that he fell in love with a girl in school at the age of 8. On the advice of seniors, he even proposed to the girl. But the girl told this to the teacher. When the matter went so far, Diljit was afraid that if the parents came to know about this, then there would be a big mess. In such a situation, he decided to run away from home, but a villager spoiled his plan. Diljit said- I had proposed to the girl under the influence of seniors. In an interview given to Raj Shamani, Diljit said- I tried to run away from home at the age of 8. There was a girl in my school, because of whom I tried to run away from home. Actually, when I was in school, some of my seniors asked me which girl I liked. Pointing towards a girl, I said- I like her. Then the seniors said that I should propose to that girl, only then we will be able to get married. Getting influenced by their words, I told my heart’s feelings to that girl. But that girl got angry at this and went and complained to the teacher. Then the teacher asked me to bring my parents to the school. Hearing this, I felt as if my world had come to an end. I left with the intention of running away from home, but a villager stopped me. Diljeet further said- After school I went home. Took out two bananas and some other fruits from the fridge. Then took the bicycle and left the house. I had gone just 5 minutes away from my house, when I met a person from the village. He shouted and said- where are you going, go back to your home. Earlier in the village, other people could also scold in the capacity of a father. Everyone lived like a family. Due to this, I could not succeed in my plan even if I wanted to. After the first plan failed, I made an excuse of stomach ache and did not go to school for two days. On the other hand, the teacher also forgave me.
