India on Tuesday reported 625 new COVID-19 cases—the lowest since April 2020, taking the total number of infections to 4,46,62,141.
No deaths were reported in the last 24 hours in the first such instance since March 2020. The death count has remained at 5,30,509.
The active cases have declined to 14,021, according to Union health ministry.
