COMEDK UGET result 2024
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), the conducting authority of the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) is expected to release the results on May 24, 2024, from 2 pm onwards on the official website, https://www.comedk.org. The COMEDK UGET exam was conducted on May 12, 2024, followed by the answer key release on May 14, 2024.While the official date for the counselling process has not been announced by the authority, it is expected to start by May end.
How to Check the COMEDK UGET scorecard?
Step 1: Visit the official website of COMEDK, https://www.comedk.org/
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the COMEDK UGET 2024 tab.
Step 3: Enter the COMEDK login credentials.
Step 4: The COMDEK scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Click on download, to save the scorecard for future use.
Counselling process
- After the declaration of the scorecard, the COMDEK conducts the centralised counselling process for seat allotment to the candidates.
- Based on the COMDEK UGET rank of the candidates, their preferences, and the availability of seats in the colleges, the candidates are allotted seats.
- COMDEK counselling process involves various steps such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, accepting the seat, and reporting to the allotted university.
COMDEK UGET
This is an entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering, dentistry and medical courses in member institutions across Karnataka. It is one of the significant entrance exams in Karnataka along with the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
This year, over 1 lakh candidates appeared for the COMDEK UGET 2024 exam, held at 264 centres and 189 cities across India. The exam took place in three sessions- the morning session (8:30 AM – 11:30 AM), the afternoon session (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM ) and the evening session (5:30 PM- 8:30 PM). In the year 2023 around 57,387 candidates appeared for the COMDEK UGET exam and around 5,930 scored above 90 percentile in the examination.
