Chhattisgarh Summer Vacation 2024 Extension: Chhattisgarh state Education Minister Brijmohan Agarwal has announced an extension of the summer vacation for all schools across Chhattisgarh until June 25. This decision comes amidst the intense heatwave sweeping through the state, aiming to safeguard the health of schoolchildren.
The directive mandates that both government and private schools will remain closed until June 25, with classes scheduled to resume from June 26 onwards.
Minister Brijmohan Agarwal highlighted the necessity of this decision in light of the scorching temperatures prevailing across various regions of Chhattisgarh. The oppressive heat has significantly impacted daily life, causing discomfort to residents and posing health risks, especially to children. Concerns raised by parents regarding their children’s well-being during this period played a crucial role in reaching this decision.
