Former president Donald Trump sues CNN for defamation for their years of coverage of him when he was President of The United States. Mr. Trump & his lawyers are seeking $475 million in punitive damages for they say defamed the Plaintiff in the minds of its viewers and readers for the purpose of defeating him politically.” The lawsuit, which was filed in U.S. District Court in Fort Lauderdale main focus is on references made by CNN on-air figures like former host Chirs Cumo, Don Lemon, Jake Tapper, and many others who created the “Big Lie,” theme that the former president’s make unfounded claims that the 2020 match up between Biden & Trump should have been his.
