The Assam CEE 2024 exam was held on June 2 for admission to various engineering colleges across Assam. The answer key for the exam was released on June 2, and candidates could challenge the provisional answer key until June 4.
Assam CEE Results 2024 out: Counselling process
Candidates who pass the exam will need to participate in the Assam CEE 2024 counselling process. To register for counselling, candidates must log in using their roll number and date of birth and update their basic details.
After registering, candidates will need to upload the required documents and select their preferred colleges and courses in order of preference.
The counselling fee of Rs 800 must be paid online through net banking, credit, or debit card. The Assam CEE 2024 seat allotment results will be posted on the official website. Seat allocation will be based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, and seat availability.
Assam CEE Results 2024: Tie-Breaking Process
In case of a tie in scores, ASTU will use the following criteria to break the tie:
- Marks obtained in the entrance test.
- Aggregate PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) score from Class 12.
- Overall aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
- A separate merit list will be prepared for each college.
- The Chairman of the selection committee will select candidates based on various criteria.
