Amitabh Bachchan honored with Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award: Said- I remember Lata ji as Maa Saraswati, recited Marathi poem.

While sharing the story of 1981 at the event, Amitabh said that it was because of Lata ji that he got the opportunity to perform in international shows. The actor told that in a show held in New York, Lata ji had given him a chance to sing the song ‘Mere Angne Mein..’ from the film ‘Lawaaris’ on stage. 81 year old Amitabh will be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He has been active in the industry for the last 5 decades. He has given many superhit films in his career like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Deewar’, ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Piku’. On the work front, the actor will be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ to be released this year. Apart from him, actors like Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan will be seen in this film.
