7 films made by Deepak Tijori were flops: Said- It feels bad but Amitabh Bachchan had also given many flop films.

Deepak Tijori is in the news these days for his upcoming film ‘Tipsy’. As a director, this is his eighth film. Deepak entered the world of direction in the year 2003 with the film ‘Oops’. In the last 20 years he has directed many films. However, none of the films did well at the box office. During a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Deepak told that he had high expectations from his previous films but he was very saddened by the failure of the films at the box office. However, they will continue their efforts. During the interview, Deepak shared many interesting things related to his professional life. Read some highlights of the conversation: Situation is not right, audience is not going to the theater. Whenever my film is released, I get the feeling of having a new child. However, this time the nervousness is a little more. The situation is not right. The audience has not been going to the theater for some time. Despite big budgets and A-lister actors, the films are not playing in theatres. In the 90s, our films sometimes celebrated silver jubilee and sometimes golden jubilee. Movies used to run in theaters for 25 to 50 weeks. Now even if it lasts for a week, it is a big deal for the producer. The good thing is that today’s producers sell some rights in advance. Considering music rights, OTT platform rights, they earn 60-70 percent before the film’s release. Overall, the risk margin for the producer has reduced slightly. Our film is very small. But the content is quite good. We have worked very hard. I hope that the audience will appreciate our hard work and go to the theater and watch the film. The content of the film ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ was very good. I had made many good films in my opinion, unfortunately, they did not work. As a director, the content of my previous film ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’ was very good. But it did not perform at the box office. Before this I had made ‘Fox’ with Sunny Deol and Arjun Rampal. That film also flopped. Obviously there will be disappointment. But, I did not give up. I will continue my efforts. Amitabh Bachchan had also given many flop films. I consider Amitabh Bachchan sir as my inspiration. He had said one thing about actors – ‘Actors should never compare their work with hits or flops. If you look at your work after years, you should not regret it. I follow his words. Amitabh Bachchan gave 100% in everything he did. Despite this, how many flop films he gave in the beginning. His films were continuously flopping. Then they became a hit. When so many films of such a big giant can flop, then what are we? I am following his path. There are groups in the film industry. Today there is a lot of talk about groups in the industry. It is discussed that Karan Johar has his own group, while Yash Raj has his own. They give work only to their group members. But the truth is that there used to be groups in our times also. There used to be a small group. This trend has been going on since the era of black and white. I have heard that even at that time actors used to ask who would be their co-actor? If an actor did not get along with someone, he would say no. That’s why every production house had its own favorite team. They would mostly cast him so that the shooting of the film could be completed smoothly. I don’t see anything wrong in this.
